By accessing or using Reasoning Log ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Reasoning Log is a platform that enables users to:

  • Create and share reasoning posts demonstrating human thought processes
  • Organize content in public or private spaces
  • Connect with other users through follow relationships
  • Verify their identity through OAuth provider connections

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that harm the Service or other users.

4. User Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you create and post on the Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.

8.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REASONING LOG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in content
  • User Content or conduct of any third party

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reasoning Log, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of any rights of another party

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the Settings page. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Reasoning Log operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reasoning Log regarding the Service.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
